Terms and Conditions (T&C)
1. Object
These Terms and Conditions (T&C) govern the sale of language training services (online French lessons) provided by Maxime Tavernier through the French Accent by Maxime website.
2. Service and Booking
Lessons are conducted online via video conferencing tools. Booking is done directly on the website through the booking calendar or by direct contact. The booking is considered firm after confirmation and payment.
3. Price and Payment
Prices are indicated in Euros (€). As an auto-entrepreneur, VAT is not applicable (Article 293 B of the CGI). Payment is due at the time of order and is made securely by credit card (via Stripe) or any other means provided on the website.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Any session cancelled or rescheduled by the student less than 24 hours in advance is due and will not be refunded. In case of cancellation by the teacher, a new session will be scheduled or the session will be refunded.
5. Right of Withdrawal
For services provided on a specific date or digital content provided immediately after purchase, the right of withdrawal does not apply once the service has been fully executed or access to the content has been granted (Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code).
6. Responsibility
French Accent by Maxime is committed to providing best efforts to help the student progress. However, learning a language depends on the student's personal involvement; no guarantee of result can be given.
7. Disputes
These T&C are subject to French law. In case of dispute, an amicable solution will be sought before any legal action in the competent courts of Paris.
