We use the verb être to introduce family members:
To say someone is part of your family, use possessives. Be careful: they agree with the word that follows (the person you are talking about), not with the owner!
⚠️ Watch out (Vowels): If a feminine word starts with a vowel (a, e, i, o, u) or 'h', we use 'mon', 'ton', 'son' instead of 'ma', 'ta', 'sa'.
✅ Say: "C'est mon amie" (not ❌ "ma amie").
👩 Sophie : Salut Marc ! Comment va ta famille ?
🧑 Marc : Salut Sophie ! Elle va bien, merci. Et la tienne ?
👩 Sophie : Super !
